Transforming adversity! FansProject goes the extra mile to raise money for the Japanese quake and tsunami relief effort!

Third-party Transformers merchandise manufacturer and distributor FansProject, makers of the mind-blowingly good “City Commander” Classics Ultra Magnus add-on set, have set up a rather unique — and uniquely generous — fund raising event.

For the first 1500 that submit a receipt displaying a donation of $15 or more to the Red Cross “Japan Earthquake and Tsunami 2011″ fund, they will give a free Targetmaster.

Created just for this event and appropriately named “Blesser”, this is their TFX-05 Sidearm toy with inverted colours.

I personally have Sidearm, and can attest that he is pure awesome. As a personal fan of Targetmasters, I can say, this guy fits right in with your G1 Targetmasters while having updated articulation.

This is a no-brainer, as every cent is given straight to the Red Cross and FansProject is not asking for anything other than your receipt as proof. So, give as much as you can give to help a transform adversity into hope for a lot of people!
