Most of yesterday was a blur (not to be confused with a Blurr). Mostly that’s caused by wandering around the dealer room (so many toooooys) but it was compounded by a silly script reading with David Kaye, Venus Terzo, and Judd Nelson followed by the absolutely silliest part of the show so far, a concert with Stan Bush and the wonderful Vince DiCola.
The dealer room is pretty much par for the course at a convention, i.e. some good deals hidden amongst a sea of way overpriced stuff. The toy cases have been interesting, with new Robots in Disguise Mini-Cons and some much needed warrior class Decepticons.
Of course, Titans Return is the part that I’m most looking forward to.
One of the announcements that could be cool, depending on how hard it turns out to be to get, is an SDCC exclusive Titans Return boxset with “City speaker” Windblade, translucent “Resurrection” Sentinel Prime, and IDW-inspired color schemed Brainstorm.
